Cognitive Computational Neuroscience
Our brains have the astonishing capacity to process large amounts of information from the environment and detect patterns or reoccurring events. Our goal is to investigate the neural mechanisms that support processing of environmental information, and how these are altered when consciousness is diminished, such as when someone is asleep or in coma. In parallel, we are developing novel machine learning algorithms for analysing rich electrophysiological signals in healthy and clinical populations.
